Follow-up Session

Treatments are 60 minutes long.

In this session, we’ll build on the foundation established during your initial session, tailoring the treatment to your evolving needs and progress. We will continue to integrate Traditional Chinese Medicine principles to optimise your wellness journey.

It’s profound…

Beyond being an elegant and highly effective system for addressing various physical disorders and concerns, Chinese Acupuncture also aids in dissolving deeper and more subtle mental and energetic blockages. These often hinder our innate ability to heal and self-regulate. It's precisely these blockages that Western medicine may overlook, but Chinese Acupuncture excels in resolving. The impact spans all levels – not only can Acupuncture alleviate headaches, improve digestion, or provide emotional relief, but, in my experience, the right needle at the right moment, inserted with the right intention, can facilitate the deepest spiritual transformation.

FAQs

  • Acupuncture harnesses the natural flow of energy (Qi) in the meridians and organs. Considering the interrelations of different systems in the body-mind-spirit complex, their manifestations in the client’s life are carefully observed to initiate a course of treatment. As I insert the needles, the body is reminded to engage in the natural process of self-balancing and regeneration. Specific needle combinations generate targeted impulses, restoring energy flow and encouraging the formation of new and improved patterns.

  • Not to worry! The needles I use are very thin—much finer than those used for blood tests. And for extra-sensitive clients, I have extra-fine needles. Pain sensitivity varies, but most people hardly feel the actual insertion. What you might notice, and it's a positive sign, is the inner sensation of 'De Qi'—the activation of energy at the needled point. You might also feel the energy-flow. That’s generally a pleasant sensation. As someone who is extra-sensitive myself, I understand and make every effort to minimize any discomfort. Regardless, we'll proceed only in a way that's comfortable for you.

  • Initially, we engage in a conversation about your current state and well-being, assessing the situation in alignment with our long-term treatment goals. Following that, I perform a traditional Chinese pulse and tongue diagnosis, informing my decision on today’s treatment. Depending on the needled points, you'll either lie down or sit up. I gently insert the needles, and for the next 30 minutes, you can relax. Unless you ask me to leave the room - I’ll stay with you, offering you a mini healing session.

  • Wear comfortable clothes or bring a change, considering that I may ask you to partially remove them.

It's advisable not to arrive hungry or overly full—eating lightly before the session is preferred.

If you habitually scrape your tongue, please refrain from doing so on the day of our meeting.

Avoid consuming foods that could color your tongue, such as colored candies, red beets, or blueberries.

Remember to bring anything relevant for us to consider, like test results or medication prescriptions.

If it’s your first time and you're uncertain about how acupuncture may affect you, particularly if you’re prone to parasympathetic responses like light-headedness, it might be advisable not to drive directly after the session.

  • 120 minute initial session: 130 Euro.

    60 minute follow-up sessions: 80 Euro.

10 weekly sessions package: 750 Euro.

The spiritual dimensions of this art of healing

Being a wisdom tradition, Chinese medicine is perceived as originating in the ONE, the Dao – in the perfect balance of Being and Non-Being, of Heaven, Human, and Earth. At its best, however, this ancient practice doesn't merely bring about balance in the personal sense – it actively encourages us to reach out to the Heavens. Excellence lies at the core of human nature, and striving for it is an intrinsic aspect of our being. The possibility of manifesting our higher destiny, allowing our deepest potential to unfold in a flow of unlimited, spontaneous expression of our most unique inner virtue, while maintaining perfect harmony with the world around us – that is the definition of health.

This kind of health is your birthright. This well-integrated and joyful flow of body, mind, and spirit is precisely what we envision for you at Golden Healing.

Chinese Acupuncture is a holistic practice, a body of knowledge collected and tested by healers and masters over millennia.

My journey with Chinese Acupuncture

The year I landed in NYC, life hit me with everything at once—personal loss, spiritual crisis, you name it; I was a hot mess. In the midst of this whirlwind, I discovered Chinese acupuncture, marking my initiation into this fascinating healing art. Surprisingly, I had never tried it before, yet its elegance captivated me instantly. I marveled at how these doctors could 'read' my tongue and pulse—it felt like they held the key to my very essence. Acupuncture sessions that year became my sanctuary, restoring my balance and returning my sense of sanity, vitality, and joy. I was beyond grateful.

Around that time, I met Guru Dev Singh and became his student. Revered as a master of meditative healing, few are aware that Guru Dev was also a masterful acupuncturist. Trained under the legendary Dr. Anton Jayasuriya in Sri Lanka, he had a treasure trove of stories to share from those transformative days.

Encouraged by Guru Dev, I pursued formal education in Chinese acupuncture upon relocating to Europe, obtaining my diploma from the Samuel Hahnemann School in Berlin.

But it was really from him that I learned how to use this practice for deep healing.

Guru Dev taught me how to look at a person and really see. He showed me how to clearly perceive the intricate facets and movements of the life force, revealing that one singular point—the exact fulcrum that could facilitate a decisive shift in the flow of Qi for profound transformation.

And he taught me how to apply this understanding within the context of a coherent treatment.

Chinese Acupuncture is a refined and beautiful art—an ancient, holistic practice, that carries a deep spiritual essence. When approached with mindful awareness and a clear vision, it becomes a potent and profound tool for healing and transformation.
