We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful il’il Sat Prem. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with il’il below.

il’il, appreciate you joining us today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?

Meeting my teacher was a turning point in my professional journey—a game changer in every sense. I came to see him for a healing session. As I walked into the room, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but as soon as I stepped inside, I could feel it—an indescribable thickness, a multidimensional quality in the air surrounding him:

In the presence of this man, silence was not just the absence of sound; it was a tangible force.

Our exchange was minimal—just a question or two. He didn’t need to know more; he already knew. With a subtle gesture, he invited me to lie down on the old sheepskin before him. A gentle touch, and his work began…

And just like that, it was over. When I got up to leave, he looked up at me with his deep and kind eyes, pressed his hands to his chest, and extended them toward me, as if sending out his heart. The force of the gesture was stunning. It was the force of pure love.

I don’t know how I left his office; I just remember walking in Manhattan with the sun shining in my belly, in my head, all around me—a sense of freedom I had never known… I was a baby, a child, a wise old woman—I was love itself…

Something hard inside of me had melted, revealing a sweet and tender core.

I was already a healer when I met him, albeit a very confused one. An intense spiritual crisis left me devoid of any clear sense of personal identity, and in the ensuing gap, healing powers began to emerge. I hadn’t even recognized myself as a spiritual seeker before, but now, I was space-traveling at will, time-traveling in ways that I couldn’t quite control… But most significantly, I realized that I had the power to project my energy and intention—to facilitate healing in others.

It took me a few years to recover from that spiritual crisis, and an equal amount of time to fully integrate my newfound healing abilities. One thing was immediately clear to me, though—I had to learn from this man.

Having spent many years as a teacher, I had already recognized that my calling was to guide others; I was here to facilitate positive change.

But I was missing one essential thing:

INNER SILENCE.

I spent the next decade and a half with Guru Dev, absorbing everything I could—learning, practicing, immersing myself in his energy—and consolidating my own healing skills.

My great fortune to meet this man and the unique experience of being in his presence, the palpable sense of profound silence—this distinct and blissful feeling—I will cherish for the rest of my life.

It was in the density of this silence, that my own mission became crystal clear.

“Project your silence! Apply it, use it to heal this world!”

His words have been the guiding principle behind everything I’ve created since then: my trainings, courses, the ‘School Of Applied Silence’, and the individual healing sessions I offer. The transformative power of inner silence fuels all aspects of my work, and its deep wisdom continues to guide and inspire every aspect of my creations.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I’m a healer and teacher, practicing and teaching a meditative healing art called ‘Healing in The Flow’, with a special focus on remote healing.

Alongside my 1:1 healing sessions, I guide online group trainings, and host immersive in-person retreats where healers, yogis, and meditation-lovers can deepen their healing journeys, learn how to heal others, and take their meditation practice to new heights.

In my online courses, centered around remote healing, I guide and mentor holistic practitioners looking to take their business online, yoga teachers who want to enhance their virtual presence, and anyone wishing to learn a simple and profound healing technique to heal their loved ones—also from afar.

Many holistic practitioners worry about offering remote sessions: they’re concerned they won’t connect as deeply with their clients or that their healing might not be as effective online. On the flip side, those who’ve already taken up remote healing often complain about feeling drained and struggling to sense a meaningful energy exchange.

But remote wellness practices hold too much promise to be missed out on! They have the potential to be deeply fulfilling for both clients and practitioners, and from my experience, they can be successfully integrated into almost any holistic practice.

In my ‘Remote Healing Mastery’ trainings, we explore every facet of this beautiful discipline. We delve into advanced remote healing techniques, perfect the art of inner silence and energy projection, and cultivate the intuition needed for healing from afar.
And we tackle the business side too: marketing, showcasing the benefits of remote healing, finding your ideal clients, and thriving on-camera—we cover it all.

Then there’s my 1:1 healing sessions.

Those who find me often sense a deeper meaning in their challenges and are looking for guidance on achieving soul-level transformation and growth. They’re ready for profound healing and want more than just surface-level solutions. With concerns spanning trauma-related issues, emotional struggles, spiritual crises, and physical complaints—especially those stubborn conditions that other methods couldn’t resolve—I’m here to offer healing and support
.
What sets me apart from others? Maybe it’s that I don’t set myself apart at all! While ‘teacher and healer’ might sound imposing, I’m really just here to help. Being present, genuine, and connecting from the heart—that’s what it’s all about.

What am I proud of? Above all, it’s my students. Witnessing their journey to discovering their healing gifts and seeing them spread those gifts far and wide fills my heart with joy!

What I want people to understand about healing is that it’s much more than a technique; it’s a spiritual practice all its own. The healing work I teach is a form of profound meditation that’ll deeply nourish your soul. It’s magic lies in its twofold nature: heal others and you heal yourself; heal yourself and it’s the world you’re healing.

And here’s a powerful truth: you can be a healer too!
We all have the potential to become healers—whether for our own growth, for others, professionally, or for those we care about most—the world is calling for us to embrace our healing roles.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

In managing and growing a spiritual business, it’s been both ‘the spiritual’ and ‘the business’ that I’ve had to unlearn.

The first lesson? Tradition.

Embarking on a spiritual journey means plunging right into your soul. It’s a perilous ride, no joke—and your chosen spiritual tradition is the rope that keeps you steady when everything else is falling apart.

For spiritual practitioners, tradition is home, and the group becomes your ‘soul family.’

Leaving a family is never easy, but sometimes, it’s the only way to stretch your wings and grow.

In the beautiful healing tradition that I was trained in, online-healing was a strict no-go. But Covid made it clear that sharing healing online was not just an option but a necessity. The world needed us to step up, so I broke away from tradition—and I’ve never looked back.

Spiritual traditions are all about timeless truths, but the way we apply them needs to evolve and adapt to meet the ever-changing needs of the world.

Second lesson? Business!

The Spiritual Business… Those words alone carry a hefty charge!

Spiritual teachings urge us to transcend our ego, and guide us towards selfless service, which—truth be told—is the healer’s heart and soul:

We’re here to serve your essence! So… how could we possibly want your dough?

Many holistic practitioners feel a subtle tension around their aspiration to succeed, alongside proper guilt about making money. It’s as if aiming for success, asking for money, or selling—somehow translates to selling out. Who’s more enlightened: the solitary monk or a bestselling author cruising in a fancy car? In most healers’ minds, it’s likely the monk.

This mindset is absorbed so deeply that unlearning it demands true resolve.

But rejecting prosperity is just an easy way out. A spiritual practitioner faces their ego daily—that’s the work. Denying any part of ourselves, denying life—can only lead to depression.

I’ve had to learn that selflessness isn’t the same as self-sacrifice, and that suppressing any part of my human experience was actually compromising my soul. The truth is, you can’t offer high-quality service when you’re struggling with scarcity or not expressing the full spectrum of YOU. And if you’re blocking the universe’s abundance, it only means there’s a part of you that still needs to heal.

This process of unlearning was quite the journey for me—it didn’t happen overnight. There was conscious and unconscious work involved, and I’ve had wonderful, compassionate mentors helping me along the way!

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?

Absolutely! If I could go back, I’d choose the same path in a heartbeat. Healing and teaching are my passion, my joy, and honestly, I can’t imagine doing anything else.

I had no clue this is what I was going to be. It was the most unexpected turn of events that led me to become a healer—nothing from my family tradition or the environment I grew up in suggested this path. And yet, every seemingly irrelevant step was essential to what I do today.

Growing up, I briefly considered becoming a therapist. However, a period of deep inner exploration and a need for self-expression guided me toward the path of an artist—musician, painter, and writer.

The healing modality I practice and teach today is all about inner exploration. It’s rooted in a state of profound meditation, where the healer goes deep within to find the realm of interconnectedness—a dimension of inner silence, overflowing with compassion and love. From that space, the healing unfolds.

In that light, my work today combines the immersive inner quest I loved so much in the arts with my drive to serve and empower others.

And when it comes to self-expression, entrepreneurship is inherently creative—from content development and graphic design to constant problem solving and generating new ideas. Creativity and self expression aren’t just routine elements for me; they’re absolutely essential.

So I ended up doing precisely what fulfills my soul, and I wouldn’t change anything in the journey that led me here!
