The Future Of Remote Healing

I had the pleasure once again to sit down with CanvasRebel and dive into the personal challenges and breakthroughs I faced as I shifted to virtual healing. We explored how this transition transformed my approach to both healing and teaching, and how remote healing techniques are gaining momentum.

We also discussed the future of the healing industry, with a focus on the power of cultivating deep, meaningful connections in the digital age—and how this is reshaping the way we work.

il’il, can you share your story with us? How did you start, and what led you to your work as a healer and teacher?

Becoming a healer was a plot twist I didn’t see coming—yet, in hindsight, it was totally predictable. Unexpected because in my world growing up, spirituality was as foreign as unicorns, and “healer” would have been the punchline of a joke. Predictable because, well, I’ve always been the go-to therapist and teacher for everyone I knew.

I started out as a musician. In my teens and twenties, I was a professional drummer. Those years were tough, filled with one crisis after another and emotional drama that could have made for an epic tale.

But the biggest crisis hit around age 27—right on cue for a classic rebirth moment! A great love and its loss drove me to change my life completely. I dropped everything and moved to NYC with no plan at all.

The anonymity of the metropolis was my perfect hideaway. Here I could get lost, get "found," and shed my old identity for a more authentic self.

Immersing myself in meditation for hours on end led to a spiritual breakthrough and, quite unexpectedly, a set of new healing skills. But I was all over the place—my energy was draining fast, my spiritual moments were a wild mix of chaos and hallelujah, and I ended up practicing my new healing abilities on unsuspecting train commuters, neighbors caught off guard, and folks at the coffee shop who didn’t see it coming. It was a whirlwind of a spiritual awakening, but eventually I found grounding in Kundalini Yoga, thanks to some amazing teachers who appeared just when I needed them most.

A great master introduced me to an inner dimension of profound silence—one I had known as a child but had forgotten along the way. By mastering this meditative ability, I was able to stabilize my healing powers and get my life back on track.

In the years that followed, I refined this state of highly energized inner silence and learned to channel it effectively for healing. After honing my practice and mastering various techniques and states of consciousness, I was ready to begin teaching others.

Sharing the gift of healing is my absolute passion. There’s nothing more fulfilling than witnessing the positive changes and growth that come from these transformative practices.
Here's a quick thought on healing: it’s when we enhance our tolerance for the flow of existence and accept reality as it comes that we begin to truly heal. We all have the power to be healers—I've seen it firsthand. And as our world needs tolerance—now more than ever—we're called to step up and heal—ourselves, each other, our future.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

Is there a smooth road really worth treading? My journey has definitely been full of twists and turns. There have been countless obstacles, each one shaping my path. Let me share one particularly transformative experience with you:

Teaching virtually has become such a cornerstone of my practice that it’s hard to believe there was ever a time when I didn’t share my teachings online. But it all began quite recently.

Covid was tough for everyone, and I was no exception. An immigrant, self-employed, and raising a newborn solo in a foreign land, I was navigating some pretty rough waters. And with in-person healing trainings closing down, travel off the table, and seeing clients in person becoming increasingly challenging, I found myself in a truly difficult spot.

At the same time, as the world faced such desperate circumstances, the need for healing work was more urgent than ever.

But in the Kundalini Yoga and healing traditions I trained in, online teaching was considered outright taboo—definitely a break from tradition. Despite this, I couldn’t shake the feeling that it was worth exploring. So, I took the leap. And oh my God, am I ever glad I did!

It’s been a truly rewarding journey, but I still remember how terrified I felt at the beginning!

I couldn’t imagine how holding a group in a guided healing session would even work online. An intense realm of silence is revealed, navigated, and applied throughout these sessions, and it’s such a powerful experience that, honestly, I was half expecting my laptop to just explode from the pressure!

Additionally, there was the emotional cost of stepping away from the group I had been part of for so long. Losing that connection was deeply challenging, as our need to belong is so strong.

So the shift was not only a technical leap but also a profound personal transition.

What was gained, though, far outweighed any temporary loss.

It has been a remarkable journey of discovery for both the students and me.

Moreover, the healing consciousness itself has undergone a profound transformation process.

It turns out that this ancient healing modality truly shines in the online setting, surpassing spatial boundaries, touching the deepest parts of our souls.

And it’s been truly fulfilling to connect with amazing people from around the globe, something I wouldn’t have experienced otherwise.

Every crisis holds promise. The trick is to see the hidden value from the start and cherish the opportunity for growth.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

I am a healer and teacher. I guide groups and individuals on their healing journeys, decoding ancient wisdom for curious modern minds.

My specialty is remote healing. I practice and teach ‘Healing in The Flow’: the art of harmonizing through profound inner silence. This modality works exceptionally well remotely and can be integrated into almost any healing practice.

Remote healing has become an essential tool for practitioners, but some healers are still hesitant to integrate it into their practice. I am dedicated to showcasing the incredible potential of this subtle, powerful technique—teaching it to healers, yoga instructors, and therapists—and to empaths who wish to heal and deeply connect with their loved ones from afar.

I love offering healing sessions, but teaching is where my heart truly lies. Watching my students flourish and spread healing everywhere fills me with pride and joy. It’s so thrilling to see the ripple effect of the practices I share!

Where do you see your industry going over the next 5-10 years? Any big shifts, changes, trends, etc?

In the next 5-10 years, I expect a surge in remote healing practices.

I feel that people are becoming more attuned to subtle energy. They are seeking deeper experiences and are increasingly open to trying out remote treatments. Just as meditation has become a common household practice, I believe that healing, especially remote healing, will follow suit and become an integral part of our daily lives: a powerful path to personal growth, accessible from anywhere.

As for healers who work remotely - the future is bright with new services and digital tools that support our work—check out the wonderful HEALLIST, for example. These advancements are leading the way in enhancing our reach and effectiveness.

A few years ago, we swiftly transitioned to remote work across many industries, and while the benefits are clear, many, including healers, therapists, and yoga teachers, have faced isolation and burnout.

The internet holds vast potential for meaningful connection, but realizing this requires a fundamental paradigm shift: learning to connect on a subtler, deeper level. Engaging in this way will not only enrich our lives but also make remote work as nourishing and fulfilling as in-person interactions.

In my work, I bring age-old healing traditions into modern use, leveraging technology to apply timeless solutions to these challenges. These ancient practices offer a potent key for cultivating profound and meaningful connections. Harnessing virtual possibilities in this way allows us to not only broaden our reach but also deepen our emotional connections, love, and care for one another.

This is a truly inspiring vision!
